Thanks to a small grant project currently carried out by Nature Caribé there are now 9 new civil society organizations (CSOs), including small local enterprises (SMEs), supporting the People Managing Oceans program – CLME + C-SAP – that is 30 percent of the new total of 28 CSOs.

These new CSOs and SMEs have aligned their work and strategies with the appropriate strategies of C-SAP.

We will continue our efforts to get more CSOs/SMEs to support the C-SAP initiative designed to contribute to strengthening the role, participation and ownership of civil society actors in the implementation of CLME + SAP to achieve the long-term vision for the marine environment in the CLME + region.
