Para la Naturaleza is a nonprofit organization that integrates society into the conservation of its natural ecosystems. Its goal is to ensure the protection of 33% of Puerto Rico’s lands by the year 2033, while fostering an ecological culture that promotes sustainable living across the archipelago. Para la Naturaleza provides transformative experiences in nature that inspire and motivate each person and community to take concrete actions for its protection.
We welcome donations of time, money and land. Para la Naturaleza manages more than 60 natural areas and welcomes visitors at our centers in:
- Hacienda Buena Vista, Ponce
- Cabezas de San Juan, Fajardo
- Hacienda La Esperanza, Manatí
- Casa Ramón Power & Giralt in Old San Juan.
Para la Naturaleza is also committed to help build Community Centers throughout Puerto Rico. Twenty-two out of 30 centers have been completely funded and 6 Centers have been fully retrofitted.
